Dr. Roger Nouneh

Professional Information

Dr. Nouneh obtained his dental degree from Boston University in 1997. He then continued to receive his specialty training in Periodontics at Georgia Health Science University, College of Dentistry in Augusta, Georgia. During his three years at MCG, Dr. Nouneh studied the attachment of bone cells to dental implant surfaces and obtained his Master’s Degree in Oral Biology. His published work can be found on the joionline.org website.

Dr. Nouneh is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is currently an active member of several national and international organizations including:

  • American Academy of Periodontology
  • Academy of Osseointegration
  • American Dental Association
  • Illinois Society of Periodontists
  • Midwest Society of Periodontology

Dr. Nouneh enjoys contributing part of his time to teaching and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. He also serves on staff at Evanston Hospital, Northshore University Healthsystem, working with the dental residents at the General Dental Residency program.

Dr. Marina Karnaukh

Professional Information

Dr. Marina Karnaukh (pronounced Kar-Now) received her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Karnaukh then pursued post-graduate education and completed a program in Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD) at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is an honors graduate with a BS in biology from the Ohio State University.

Dr. Karnaukh enjoys all facets of dentistry and is comfortable providing care to patients of all ages. Preventative care and continuing education is of utmost importance to Dr. Karnaukh. She enjoys connecting with patients and is committed to creating custom treatment plans to fit each patient’s unique needs and goals. Dr. Karnaukh is an active member of the American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society.

When she isn’t restoring Chicago’s smiles, Dr. Karnaukh is enjoying traveling, yoga, concerts and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Kathryn Jensen

Professional Information

Dr. Kathryn Jensen was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois. She moved to Chicago and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science. She continued her education at UIC to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During her time in dental school, she received the Dr. Walter E. Dundon award for clinical excellence and leadership.

Dr. Jensen’s main goal is providing patient centered care by listening and communicating effectively to achieve the best outcomes for each patient. She is a big believer of evidence based dentistry and continuing education to provide the highest quality care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jensen enjoys spending time with her fiancé and two cats. She enjoys going to White Sox games in the summer and cheering for the Green Bay Packers in the winter. She loves reading, working out, and trying out new restaurants with family and friends.

Dr. Emily Jiang grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of
Michigan.
Dr. Jiang is dedicated to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard and cared for. She believes great dentistry begins with
building trust, educating patients about their oral health, and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is committed to providing personalized, high-quality
treatment tailored to each individual's needs.
In her free time, Dr. Jiang enjoys traveling, golfing, playing tennis, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward
to welcoming new patients!

Dr. Ashley Choi grew up in Northbrook, Illinois, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UIC. Her path to dentistry began early, when she was accepted into UIC’s Guaranteed Professional Program in Dentistry in 2019, giving her a guaranteed pathway to dental school.

Dr. Choi is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their dental care. She is committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in dentistry to provide thoughtful, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She is currently pursuing continuing education in implant and digital dentistry through Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choi enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around Chicago. She loves spending time with family and friends and is often kept busy by her 90-pound puppy, Theo. She is always looking for her next adventure and is excited to meet her patients, get to know them, and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental experience.

Dr. Natalia Pinto was born and raised in Downers Grove, IL. She played college soccer at Augustana College where she also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. 
 
Dr. Pinto is passionate about building great relationships with her patients while helping them to achieve their most beautiful and healthy smiles. She strives to provide the best care to patients of all ages and strongly believes in the importance of the connection between oral health and the rest of the body.
 
Outside of the office Dr. Pinto enjoys running on the lakefront trail, working out, baking, and reading. She loves trying new coffee shops and restaurants around the city with friends and family on the weekends. Dr. Pinto is so excited to meet her patients and make their smiles brighter!

Dr. Audrey Polk is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychological Science and Care, Health & Society from the University of Arizona before moving to the Midwest to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Polk is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where they feel heard and understood. With her background in psychology, she strives to make dental visits less stressful while providing compassionate, individualized care. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Polk enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, staying active, and watching or attending sporting
events. She also loves trying new restaurants and coffee shops around Chicago and always welcomes a recommendation. Dr. Polk looks forward to meeting you
